This shirt was a present to Skotte from his parents!
He was deeply amused the day he wore this shirt to work when there was a big fire drill planned.
Skotte’s family loves a good pun. His parents taught him a lot about humor.
My dad was known to crack some corny jokes, too. He had a very dry subtle sense of humor.
Yesterday, November 23rd, was Harpo Marx’s Birthday, by the way! Skotte introduced me to The Marx Brothers. I had heard of them before I met Skotte – mostly Harpo from “I Love Lucy,” which I watched in reruns. But, I did not understand the family dynamics of the brothers, or the idea of the straight man.
I think I am pretty much the straight man to Skotte’s goofball.
Not 100%, because I am a goofball too, but I do try to keep Skotte in line.
*evil grin*
Also, Skotte with power tools is a tiny bit frightening.
