Woot!

We love a good book around here.  My love of books started with Encyclopedia Brown.  I will try just about anything – fiction, non-fiction, history, romance, technical books, comics, almanacs…  I have a soft spot for mystery novels.

Skotte is a slower more deliberate reader. He digests the words as he reads. The invention of the e-reader has been awesome for Skotte and he reads much faster. In fact, he is now waiting for me to finish some books so we can discuss them!

The fight between paper and digital books rages on.

Both have merits.

There is nothing like holding a book in your hands to look at beautiful art or read the latest comic story line. But, all those books lead to clutter, dust, and accumulation. Will we really read it again? And, e-readers/tablets/ipads are much lighter than a lot of books! How did we ever hold those things up for hours???

Reading is very important, whether you do it old school or digitally.

Knowledge is power!

Also, this photo kind of reminds us of Magritte’s Son of Man.
