My alma mater just opened a brand new Performing Arts Center and had an alumni concert to celebrate the opening last November. One of the pieces we performed was Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, which is the music featured on this shirt. My mom and aunt (who also went to the same school) played chimes from the balconies, and I played a cannon (bass drum) with fellow percussion alumni. It was so much fun! I miss playing in a band so much!
You may remember this shirt (#312!) where Skotte was playing the flute like a trumpet. We took this shot for his sister and niece who play the flute properly.
