Today is The Day of the Dead, as observed in Mexico and elsewhere.

Halloween is about the fear of death; Dia de los Muertos is about remembering and celebrating those who have moved on.

This shirt is properly titled Muertocorrido.  Literally, it means song for the dead.  The corrido, however, is a very old, classic Mexican style of music, sung passionately about history, oppression, life, death, and other stuff of interest to peasants.  Often, corridos are sung as a waltz or a polka.

Come!  Dance!  Have some sugar skulls candy!  Enjoy some delicious Pan de Muerto bread!!  Smell those marigolds!!  And sing a song to honor your loved ones!
