This Woot shirt was designed by none other than WIL WHEATON of WIL WHEATON fame!
You may know him from such awesome things as: Stand By Me, Star Trek: Next Generation, The Big Bang Theory, Tabletop… the list goes on and on.
The shirt is an awesome homage to gaming and the great Japanese art print The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai. The water is made up of rolling dice, and Mt. Fuji is a great bag of holding! The boats are full of warriors, mages, maybe a druid… I keep wanting to call them Vikings.
Skotte received this shirt for Christmas from me. We were celebrating the holiday at my aunt & uncle’s house. My aunt went to Japan in the early 1980s and happens to have this print hanging in her house. Inspiration hit me; what a fabulous place for us to take a picture of this shirt, with the original art in the background.
